Austria's subsidies increase Hebei photovoltaic industry ushered in good

Europe is the most important export market for Hebei's solar photovoltaic industry. In terms of subsidy for photovoltaic power generation, the main tone of Europe is “downgrade”. However, Austria has recently announced a positive result. The country has passed a new photovoltaic power generation subsidy bill and the subsidies have been fully raised. This will benefit Hebei manufacturers such as Yingli, Jingao, and Juli.

After a long period of negotiations and discussions, the Austrian Parliament finally passed a new version of the PV subsidy program, which will give Austria's photovoltaic power generation applications a "green light."

Hans Kronberg, president of the Austrian Photovoltaic Association, said that Austria's photovoltaic applications and technologies will usher in new opportunities for development. At the same time, the frequent adjustment of energy policies will come.

It is reported that the new subsidy policy will take effect on September 1, 2011.

It is understood that according to the new Austrian photovoltaic power subsidy program, a rooftop power generation system with an installed capacity of 5 watts to 20 watts will receive a subsidy price of 38 euro cents per kWh if all the electricity is on the grid. If the power generation system is more than 20 kilowatts, the subsidy price per kilowatt-hour is 33 euro cents.

The subsidy standards for other power generation applications will continue to be maintained. For example, the subsidy price for small-scale power generation systems is 35 euro cents per kWh, and the subsidy price for large-scale outdoor power generation systems is 25 euro cents.

While increasing the on-grid tariff level, the Austrian Parliament also announced that the level of subsidies for photovoltaic power generation will be gradually reduced in the future. From 2012 to 2015, small-scale systems will gradually be reduced by 5% to 20%. Electricity prices for outdoor large-scale power generation systems will also be cut by 2.5% to 17.5%.

Previously, the Austrian government spent only 2.1 million euros on subsidies for solar power each year, which will be raised to 50 million euros in the future, of which 8 million euros will be used to promote research and development of photovoltaic technology.

At present, the products of the Hebei solar photovoltaic industry are mainly exported to Europe, especially Germany and Italy. The growth rate in the first half of this year was around 50%. However, according to Hebei industry sources, as Germany, Italy and other countries gradually reduce the price subsidies, the battery module market slowed down, and Hebei manufacturers have now begun to cultivate emerging markets in the United States, Southeast Asia and Europe.
