As of November 20, the Shenyang Oil Production Plant in Liaohe Oilfield applied electromagnetic induction hot injection technology, accumulatively increased oil by 1,050 tons, and found a new way for the production of crude oil in the old block.
After long-term injection of cold water, some old block high-condensate oil reservoirs in Shenyang Oil Production Plant have poor water absorption capacity, and the bottom-hole pressure has increased year by year. The water flooding effect has decreased significantly, and the stability of crude oil production has become more difficult. To this end, the plant technicians use electromagnetic induction hot-injection technology to increase the fluid supply capacity of the well.
Electromagnetic induction thermal injection technology places electromagnetic induction heaters in the bottom of the well to create a vortex alternating magnetic field. After the injected water passes through the magnetic field, the water temperature rises, which effectively melts the dead oil deposited in the voids of the formation, increasing the permeability of the reservoir and the fluid supply capacity of the well and achieving the purpose of increasing production.
