April 25, 2017, Beijing – Keysight recently announced the industry-leading 400G communications R&D solution, which not only opens up all aspects of modeling, design, launch and reception verification testing, but also uses instrumentation during the design simulation phase. The test software in the analysis and verification, the late-stage sample development and verification can also use the previous simulation tools for reasoning calculations, different concerns about the differences in the different stages of development due to different tools.
To further reduce production testing costs, Keysight's N1092 DCA-M series multi-channel sampling oscilloscopes without display are optimized for production development of 100G/200G/400G optical devices, with one module supporting four channels. The design has three goals. One is to maintain or exceed the industry's best 86100D sampling oscilloscope measurement accuracy, the other is to reduce the cost of hardware required for testing by half, and the third is to improve the test system throughput by more than three times. Designed with the technology in mind, Keysight's N4392A all-in-one optical modulation domain analyzer designed to reduce test costs not only has a built-in light holder, but also significantly reduces costs.
To further meet the high-end needs of R&D, Keysight's N1046A sampling oscilloscope module has a bandwidth specification of up to 100 GHz, an available bandwidth of up to 140 GHz, and one module supports up to four channels. The M8040A BER analyzer module solves the current PAM-4 error on the market. The patching problem of the detection scheme solves the problem that the two-way NRZ can be combined into one way PAM-4 can not generate any nonlinear eye diagram, and also eliminates the non-reflection caused by the decomposition of PAM-4 into two-way NRZ to measure the error code. The problem of measuring the true signal quality of the object, built-in de-embedding, jitter injection and other functions greatly simplifies the peripheral signal connection. The arbitrary waveform generator is up to 92GSa/s. Huawei uses the M8196A to demonstrate the 112Gbps PAM-4 optical transmission system.
