On October 20, 2009, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Wincraft jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made rotary table lamps.
The recalled table lamp can be rotated 360 degrees, with the logo on the front of various sporting events (such as NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA and NASCAR), black base, about 6 inches wide and about 13 inches high. The lamp was sold at the US Sports Goods Store in August 2009 and is priced at $40 per baht.
The number of items recalled this time is about 145. The reason for the recall was that there was a problem with the wiring of the lamp, which could cause burns, electric shock to the user or risk of fire. As of now, Wincraft has not received any incident reports.
To this end, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommended that consumers immediately stop using the recalled lamp and contact Wincraft for free replacement of other lamps.
