Germany's Ai Siqiang Co., Ltd. announced on May 8 that it has signed a new MOCVD system order with Warsaw University in Poland. Under the contract, the University of Warsaw ordered a 3x2 inch proximity coupled sprinkler (CCS) reactor for the growth of gallium nitride (GaN) materials.
It is reported that this is part of the EU's “Science as the basis of new technology – the development of the modern research infrastructure of the Physics Department of Warsaw Universityâ€.
Ai Siqiang received orders in the fourth quarter of 2011 and will deliver the system in the second half of 2012. Ai Siqiang said that its European service support team will install and commission a system in a clean room facility dedicated to the School of Physics and Physics of the University of Warsaw.
