China's industrial robot industry has entered a period of rapid development. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that China's industrial robot production has broken 100,000 units in the first 10 months. Chen Wenzhao, secretary general of the Taiwan Association of Intelligent Automation and Robotics, said in an interview with a reporter from Chinanews.com that many foreign companies hope to cooperate with the mainland through Taiwan. Taiwanese companies must also seize opportunities in the mainland market. In the future, there are many opportunities for cooperation between Taiwan and the mainland in terms of robot product development, system integration, and zero-component applications.
As an important manufacturing base in China, Chongqing requires a large number of robots for upgrading notebook computers and automobiles. Chongqing Liangjiang New Area has formed the robot industry ecology represented by China National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center (Chongqing). The domestic and foreign robots such as FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Kawasaki, Huaji, Dengqi Electromechanical have already landed. Leading companies such as artificial intelligence have also been laid out. Tang Zongwei, executive deputy director of Chongqing Liangjiang New District Management Committee, said that he hopes that more robot enterprises will enter the Liangjiang New Area and will provide policy support and market orders.
The demand for Chinese robotics market has exploded. Cai Hezhen, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that it is imperative to improve the standard system, improve testing and certification, and standardize the market system.
On the same day, China National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center (referred to as the National Evaluation Center) and UL (American Underwriters Laboratories), CSA (Canadian Standards Association), SGS (Swiss General Public Notary), TUV (German Technical Supervision Association) and other international certifications The agency signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen international cooperation in robot standard testing and certification.
The National Assessment Center's robot testing and certification information platform is launched and connected with “Credit Chinaâ€, which will make the testing and certification process clearer and easier to query the products and models that have passed the certification, improve the credibility, and promote the entry of robot products into the market.
The forum was hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, and the National Standardization Administration. The forum also held a special seminar on key topics such as industrial robot standard testing and certification technology, service robot technology standards and new trends in testing and certification, robot parts and testing technology, and issued certificates for the latest 20 robot companies that obtained CR certification for robot products.
