Circuit Operation Principle The mine charging indicator circuit consists of resistors R1 to R5, LEDs V and fuses FU as shown.

When the battery is charging, V is turned on and VL2 is lit. When the polarity of the storage battery is properly connected, VL3 does not emit light. If the polarity of the battery is reversed, VL3 lights up and a yellow warning signal is issued.
When the fuse FU is blown for some reason (for example, internal short circuit of the battery), VL1 lights up.
Component selection
R1 ~ R4 select 1/4W metal film resistor for use; R5 selects 27 wire wound resistor for use.
VD selects 1N4007 silicon rectifier diode for use.
VL1 ~ VL3 select φ5mm high brightness LED.
V selects Model 58050 silicon NPN transistor.
