Canadian public safety communications company Amika Mobile announced plans to develop a networked vehicle with Israel's smart border security developer Mobility Insight (Mobi). According to reports, the two parties are working together on a plan for the Canadian government, Mobi will use its hybrid cloud and Amika Mobility Server (AMS) platform features as a key emergency communication. AMS is a patented AI smart agent platform that can process thousands of simultaneous events and automatically discover mobile devices in public locations, such as borders, airports and venues, to provide immediate assistance and evacuation in an emergency.
As for Mobi's own cloud system and Internet of Things (IoT) sensor network, it can provide traffic prediction and analysis and efficiency. The company leverages data fusion from traditional systems, smart sensors, vehicle-to-any object (V2X) and dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) technology to create smarter infrastructure, support traffic management policies, strategies and planning. By improving traffic-related situational awareness and performance indicators, intelligent and real-time decisions can be made for road congestion, and traffic patterns, traffic control and efficiency, and transportation planning can be mastered.
The AMS Smart Agent platform provides situational awareness, information sharing, cross-device and fast two-way communication, and achieves control through deep integration with physical security systems. The platform alerts and tracks any communication layer response, including networked vehicles, computer voice, VoIP, newsletters, pop-up messages, push, E-mail, overhead screens, digital signals, Twitter, camera systems, fishing boat monitoring systems (VMS) ), government units or climate reminders with Mobi's IoT sensor network.
