At present, Aixtron and Veeco two MOCVD equipment factories monopolize the global market share of the equipment by nearly 90%. The two annual production capacity is only about 150 units, and most of them are delivered to Korean LED manufacturers. The price of each MOCVD is 35 million yuan, and the gross profit margin is over 45%. Just as Chinese companies are still in the investment period of LED business loss, the profits of overseas MOCVD equipment manufacturers have been full.
Although LED light source has many advantages and has been widely used in many fields, it is a point source of compound semiconductor. Due to the quality of semiconductor chip, effective output of light, heat dissipation, packaging technology and drive circuit, the reliability of LED products, Consistency, luminous efficiency and longevity have practical effects, which require further research and resolution, and the current high price is still difficult for civilian use.
Second, the production of OLED solid state light source
