Two LED laboratories in Foshan selected for the national joint project

Recently, as approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, two projects in Foshan City have been listed in the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center construction plan. It is understood that this is the first time that the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission has jointly established a National and Local Joint Engineering Center with the National Development and Reform Commission. A total of 10 engineering research center projects in the province have been included in the plan.

The two projects in which Foshan was selected into the National Joint Research Center for Engineering (Engineering Laboratories) Construction Project are the “National Local and Joint Engineering Research Center for Organic Light Emitting Diode Display Devices” and the “National Local and Joint Engineering Research Center for Semiconductor Lighting Materials and Devices”. Rainbow (Foshan) Plate Co., Ltd. and Foshan Guoxing Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. are responsible for the construction.

The National Local United Engineering Research Center will undertake research and development and engineering research tasks for national, local, and industry, and transfer technological achievements to the industry through market mechanisms. The two engineering research centers selected by Foshan will rely on the industrial characteristics and advantages of the project construction unit to focus on solving key bottlenecks in the development of the LED industry and promote industrial technological progress and structural adjustment.
