Shenzhen LED output accounts for half of the province

At the meeting, Qiu Xuan, deputy director of the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission, introduced that last year Shenzhen's LED output value was nearly 70 billion yuan, accounting for half of Guangdong Province; on the industrial scale, there were 1,500 companies engaged in LED production, with more than 300,000 employees. People; In the development of leading enterprises, there are 10 Shenzhen LED companies that have been listed or have met since 2011.

Completed popularization work in 2014

Shenzhen Shiye Industry Federation executive vice president and secretary-general Rong Shirong revealed that the Guangdong provincial government will deploy a unified plan to promote LED lighting products in the public lighting field. It requires three years to popularize public lighting, including the Pearl River Delta for two years. In the public domain, LED lighting is used in all construction projects involving financial contributions. This work will be completed in 2014. It is required that from March 1 this year, all lighting projects in Guangdong Province that are newly invested in lighting projects and public lighting in the newly planned development areas should be LED lighting products. Each city (including Shenzhen) needs to formulate the overall goal and plan for the popularity of LED lighting products in the region before April 1.
