The first wind farm in Zhijin County is connected to the grid for operation

It is understood that Zhijin County Santang Wind Farm Construction Project is the first wind farm in the county and is planned and managed by China Power Construction Group Guiyang Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 470 million yuan and a total installed capacity of 48MW. , Install 24 wind turbines with a unit capacity of 2000kW. It is one of the key investment attraction projects of the County Development and Reform Bureau. The Zhijin County Development and Reform Bureau uses the characteristics of high altitude, strong wind, and stable wind direction in the town of Santang, and has been with China Power Construction Group Guiyang Survey, Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. for many times. The project's argumentation, site selection and other issues were negotiated and the project owners were actively assisted in the preliminary work of the project. With the joint efforts of both parties, the project was formally started construction on May 6, 2013, and this year, May 31st. A wind turbine was formally put into production. On October 29th, the last wind turbine of the wind farm was put into production and 24 wind turbines were put into operation.

The completion of Zhijin County Santang Wind Farm will provide an annual power generation capacity of approximately 98.954 million kwh. According to the coal-fired power plant's coal consumption and various waste gas and waste slag discharge standards, annual savings of about 33,600 tons of standard coal can be saved, annual CO2 emissions can be reduced by approximately 88,100 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 285.98 tons, dust emissions by approximately 18 tons, and ash. The slag discharge is about 2,572.80 tons. It created a precedent for the implementation of low-carbon, environmentally-friendly and sustainable clean energy projects in Zhijin County, which laid a solid foundation for accelerating the economic transformation and upgrading of the county and played a powerful role in promoting the sustainable development of Zhijin's economic society.
