All electric meters have a common feature, namely the consumption of metering electric energy; depending on the application and design structure, many types of electric energy meters are derived. For example: mechanical structure and electronic structure, prepaid, multi-rate, Multi-functional and so on.

There is no difference in terms of measurement methods and measurement results. But there are fundamental differences in the internal structure, one is called static (or electronic), and the other is called inductive (or mechanical). Inductive watches, as the name implies, are manufactured using the principle of electromagnetic induction. Static meters are measured using electronic circuits based on the principle of electrical energy measurement.

In terms of structure, mechanical and electronic, only the design structure is different, and the product functions are the same. Early homes were using mechanical watt-hour meters, and now with the advantages and general grades of electronic products, mechanical structures are gradually being replaced by electronic structures.

In general, households use ordinary electric energy meters. However, in special cases, electric energy meters with special functions are required. For example, prepaid electric meters can be used for pre-paid and re-use; multi-rate electric meters can be used. The energy used in the time period is measured to facilitate the power station to charge different electricity charges according to different time periods, and achieve the purpose of controlling the peak power consumption. Multi-function is more versatile, not only can measure active and time-sharing in time, but also monitor power consumption.

Manual Pulse Generator

A manual pulse generator (MPG) is a device normally associated with computer numerically controlled machinery or other devices involved in positioning. It usually consists of a rotating knob that generates electrical pulses that are sent to an equipment controller. The controller will then move the piece of equipment a predetermined distance for each pulse.
The CNC handheld controller MPG Pendant with x1, x10, x100 selectable. It is equipped with our popular machined MPG unit, 4,5,6 axis and scale selector, emergency stop and reset button.
