Taiwan's LED factory Longda's expansion of the new plant in Chenzhou City, Anhui Province entered the stage of construction. The company announced yesterday (8) that it will spend RMB 250 million to build the plant. The production schedule is aimed at 2019, except for lighting and backlighting. In addition to the existing market, it also focuses on emerging applications such as LED automotive lighting, UV (ultraviolet), and IR (infrared).
In April this year, Ronda announced that it has signed an investment agreement with the Ganzhou Municipal Government of Anhui Province. It will carry out an LED one-stop investment project in the Susie Modern Industrial Park. It is expected to mass production in 2019 and is now officially entering the stage of construction.
Ronda’s announcement yesterday showed that the capital expenditure budget for the construction of the plant reached RMB 250 million. Ronda will hold a board meeting today to pass the capital expenditure budget.
In addition, according to Ronda statistics, revenue in October reached 940 million yuan (NTD, the same below), net profit after tax in October was 26 million yuan, a decline of 31% compared with the same period last year, but one month profit is equivalent 53% in the second quarter, the net profit after tax per share is 0.05 yuan.
It is understood that Lunda has not yet announced the third quarter earnings report. In the first half of this year, the profit reached 49 million yuan, and the net profit per share after tax was 0.09 yuan. The company recently published the infrared IR and module required for face recognition. In the positive sample delivery certification, there is still no revenue contribution this year, but with the Apple iPhone X introducing face recognition into high-end smart phones, and becoming the biggest selling point, the face recognition theme has an imaginary space.
