TDK Corporation recently launched a new EPCOS (EPCOS) B82476B1 * M100 series of SMT power inductor current handling capacity increased by 10% compared to older models. The improved product performance is more reliable, with a current rating of 0.33 A to 7.5 A, an inductance range of 1.0 μH to 1000 μH, and a typical DC resistance of 6.0 mΩ to 1.95 Ω.

The power inductors are AEC-Q200 compliant and are suitable for operating temperatures from -55 °C to +150 °C, thus meeting the demanding requirements of automotive electronics applications. These non-shielded components have a substrate that enhances mechanical stability. The package size is 12.95 mm x 9.40 mm and the insertion height is 5.08 mm. It is RoHS compliant and meets the lead-free soldering requirements of JEDEC J-STD020D. The main uses of these high-power inductors include DC-DC converters in automotive electronics applications and switching power supplies (SMPS) in demanding industrial electronics applications.
